COVID-19 Resources

While America is dealing with the pandemic of the novel Coronavirus known as COVID-19, the NUA wants to provide some resources for upholstery professionals during this time. We hope to update this page often. 

Keep in mind, you cannot get enough information concerning this virus, but you can get too much wrong information. Please use legitimate websites in obtaining information and developing a plan. 

UPHOLSTERY COMMUNITY MEETING

Wednesday, April 8, 2020 - 1 pm ET
The NUA is hosting a weekly Community Meeting via Zoom. This meeting for all upholstery professionals so we can have a face to face conversation. The goal is to share ideas and concerns to help the NUA understand how it can help the upholstery industry during and after this pandemic. Bring your thoughts and your questions about the constantly changing business world as it applies to upholstery.

This week's topics will include:

      • information from the Industry Partner Roundtable (info from vendors about their current status)
      • short term needs of small and large busineses
      • long term needs of the upholstery industry
      • how can the NUA help?

This will be the kind of meeting where we can see all the participants' faces, so smile, you're on camera!

WAYS TO DONATE

Many sewing professionals and DIY-ers are getting involved with sewing face masks. Please check with your local healthcare professionals to see what they might need, if you would like to be involved. Be sure to follow their recommendations.
