In this hands-on class, students will participate in a thorough introduction of slipcover design and fabrication, and master basic fitting, sewing techniques, pattern placement, pin-fitting, and stitching. Students will create form-fitting slipcovers with or without welt, and their choice of skirt style, and leave with the confidence and skills to add this popular style of slipcover to their workroom services.  Students can bring their own armless Parsons style chair or barstool, or one will be provided.
